The Facilities Planning & Development Mentorship Program: MENTOR

Mentor is a person that serves to guide and motivate the next generation to navigate through the early steps in the person’s career. Mentors facilitate the “knowledge transfer:” they contribute to the professional development of future leaders in design, construction, planning, environmental sustainability, or facilities maintenance built-environment life-cycle workforce. Mentors help explore career paths,
connect with others or identify resources that served as building blocks in the students’ career trajectory.
Mentors will have the opportunity to Identify potential interns and new hires for their organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Be a practitioner of the built environment.
- Commitment to supporting the growth and development of students.
- Commitment to participating and supporting mentor matching events on volunteer basis.
