CalWORKs
CalWORKs (California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids)
California's plan for welfare reform. The Community Colleges offer expanded, multi-strategy programs for CalWORKs participants who are referred by the County or are enrolled in career programs at the colleges. This site includes the State Systems Office program information and the LA County Department of Social Services programs, projects and initiatives.
