Statewide In-Language Education Summit #2 –

After the passage of AB 1096 (Fong) expanding opportunities for community colleges to offer instruction in languages other than English, courses taught in Spanish, Korean, Armenian and more have been growing in popularity throughout California. This summit, the second in a series exploring in-language education, focuses on crafting curriculum for these courses including the kinds of activities and assignments proven to work, reflections on teaching and learning experiences in various languages, as well as how these courses lead to substantial outcomes for new and emerging student populations.
