2024 California Cybersecurity Workforce Development and Education Summit 

Dear Cybersecurity Workforce Development and Education Professionals and Colleagues,

To address current and future California Cybersecurity workforce capability and skills gaps, we must work together collaboratively with Industry, the Public Sector, and K-12 Education/Higher Education communities and partners. Our grand objective is a cybersecurity career education pipeline and pathway into the professional field and academic discipline to meet state and local workforce/employment needs. Thus, we are meeting with statewide key partners and major local stakeholders to discuss these critical issues and innovative solutions to support and enhance California IT-Cybersecurity-AI Workforce needs. The discussion includes both traditional (“academics”) and non-traditional (“skills-competency based”) approaches for professional preparation to fill numerous available employment opportunities of the California Cybersecurity Career Education Pipeline and Pathway Project (C3EP3).
