Title IX, Sexual Assault, Sexual Misconduct
In accordance with the requirements of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD or the District) does not discriminate on the basis of sex. Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (20 U.S.C. 1681 - 1688) prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any federally funded education program or activity, including sexual violence and other sex acts done without consent. These sex acts include rape, sexual assault, sexual battery, stalking, domestic and partner violence, and sexual coercion.
The LACCD Title IX Coordinators are responsible for handling Title IX complaints, including sex discrimination and sexual misconduct, at the campus level.
