FULL-TIME STUDENTS APPLICATIONS

PART-TIME STUDENTS APPLICATIONS


Applicant applying for an initial I-20 or would like to apply to transfer Active I-20 to ELAC.   Students must enroll in a minimum of 12 or more units at ELAC each semester.

 


Applicant is holding an active I-20 at another college/university and wish to take 1-11 units at ELAC.

FULL-TIME STUDENTS REQUIREMENTS

PART-TIME STUDENTS REQUIREMENTS

 

  •  Submit ELAC’s online application
  •  English Proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, iTEP, Eiken, or Duolingo)
  •  Academic Records/Transcripts
  •  One passport-sized photo
  •  Financial Affidavit Form
  •  Confidential Financial Statement
  •  Guardian Statement - student who is under the   age of 18 must have a guardian in Los Angeles County
  •  Copy of current Visa and I-94 (Transfer Students Only)
  •  All current and previous status documents (I-20, DS-2019, etc) (Transfer Students Only)
  • Student Status Verification Form (Transfer Students Only)
  • Personal Statement: explain your educational goal or reason to continue your education (Transfer Student Only)
    1. Student who have completed a degree such as an Associate/Bachelor’s degree or higher
    2. Student who do not have active F1 student status or the minimum 2.00 grade point average requirement​
  •  Submit required application support documents to elac_iso@elac.edu 
  • Application Processing Fee (Submit application fee payment through SIS portal at mycollege.laccd.edu)

 

 

  •  Submit ELAC’s online application
  •  Copy of your current I-20
  •  Copy of your current Passport, I-94 and US visa stamp
  •  Submit Part Time permission letter from your current DSO’s official
  •  Submit required application support documents to elac_iso@elac.edu
  • Application Processing Fee (Submit app​lication fee payment through SIS portal at mycollege.laccd.edu)

FULL-TIME STUDENTS ADMISSION NOTIFICATION

PART-TIME STUDENTS ADMISSION ​NOTIFICATION

  •  You will receive an email to guide you through the admission process and for I-20 support. 
  •   Check your personal email Inbox and “Bulk/Spam” folders for follow up (approximately 10 business days after submitting your support documents).

 

  • You will receive emails with your LACCD ID number and instructions on how to access your account.

 All documents must be translated into English and can be scanned/emailed to our department email: elac_iso@elac.edu  for admission evaluation purposes.
