In a District that includes nine colleges and multiple offsite centers covering over 800 square miles, it is easy to feel detached from the organization. The purpose of our outreach efforts is to ensure that the Personnel Commission has a presence among classified employees so that their questions can be answered and the services we offer are readily accessible. The Service Representatives strive to be approachable, to provide authoritative information, hold sensitive contacts in confidence, and help classified employees realize their importance to the mission of the District.
