Are you ready to get hired by the expanding “green” industry?  Then don’t miss the free Green Job Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pasadena Convention Center, 300 East Green St. in Pasadena.

Los Angeles World Airports, Imani Energy, Green Hive, OzNet Systems, and Environmental Solar Design are a few of the companies participating in the job fair. It is hosted by BuildLACCD, the Los Angeles Community College District's green construction program, the Foothill Workforce Investment Board, the Employment Development Department and PVJOBS.

“As we slowly emerge from the nation’s economic downturn, green employers arepreparing to hire new workers,” said Larry Eisenberg, executive director of Facilities Planning and Development for LACCD. “We encourage everyone to bring their resumes and dress for success.”

The job fair is being held in association with the 2009 Green California Community College Summit, which is being held from Oct. 5-7 at the Pasadena Convention Center.
