The District Curriculum Committee is a standing committee of the District Academic Senate. It recommends policies and procedures concerning curriculum development, oversees the curriculum approval process, and in certain instances, makes recommendations to the District Academic Senate on curriculum proposals. The composition of the committee is as follows:
- The nine local college faculty chairs of the college curriculum committees.
- The President and the Vice President of the District Academic Senate.
- A faculty member representing the AFT.
- Academic Affairs Vice President (1).
- Educational services representative (1).
- Other Academic Vice Presidents or faculty may serve as resource persons.
The Committee is chaired by the Vice President of the District Academic Senate. Voting members shall consist of the AFT member, the President and Vice President
of the District Academic Senate, and the nine local chairs of the curriculum committees.
