Under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act (CANRA), certain types of employees, known as mandated reporters, must report known or suspected instances of child abuse or neglect that they are made aware of during the course and scope of their employment.
All LACCD employees except student
workers are mandated reporters. The District is required
to provide you with training in child abuse identification
and reporting.
Please read the following material carefully, as it informs you of your legal responsibilities and the potential criminal and civil penalties for failing to report.

and sign the form on the last page, entitled "Condition
of Employment Pursuant to CANRA." |

Return the signed form
