APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION
WHO SHOULD APPLY
A New Student - Is anyone who has never attended Los Angeles Southwest College or one of the Los Angeles Community College District sister campuses (ELAC, WLAC, LAHC, LATTC, LAMC, LAPC, LAVC or LACC). Note: Students applying to the LASC College Promise Program must apply for the summer/fall term only.
A Returning Student - Is anyone who has applied for any of the LACCD campuses but whose last enrollment was MORE than 1 year ago. Due to the length of non-enrollment (out two or more primary terms), you must reapply by submitting another college application.
WHO SHOULD NOT APPLY
A Continuing Student is defined as a student who applied or attended either the previous Fall or Spring semester at any of the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) campuses. Continuing students do not need to reapply, even if this is your first time taking courses at LASC.
Continuing students can view their district-wide registration data that can be used at any of the nine campuses to enroll for classes. Please go to your Student Information System (SIS) portal.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENT
Defined as a student that possesses an F-1, F-2 Visa or, is currently in the change of status and currently possesses a J-1, B1/B2 or M1 Visa. An International student wanting to attend LASC MUST complete the International Student Application, the first step to apply to Los Angeles Southwest College.

If you have applied to LASC or a sister campus within our District for the Fall 2019 or Spring 2020 term, there is no need to submit another application. You are eligible to enroll in any of the 9 campuses within our District.
Duplicate applications may create processing delays.
