J. JOBS FORECAST BY INDUSTRY
This Section provides a forecast
of jobs for Los Angeles County, Orange County, the State,
Nation and College Service Center. The jobs are shown by
4-digit NAICS code for all industry sectors. Jobs forecasting
is provided for the period from 2005 to 2010. The tables
include a forecast of both new and replacement jobs.
This forecast is derived from the
economics consulting firm, CCbenefits with the use of their
Community College Strategic Planning (CCSP) computer model.
CCSP is a web-based tool that provides jobs forecasts to academic
programs. In addition, the Model provides occupations forecast
and a mapping conversion. This Scan includes lease of the CCSP
model for one year permitting further unlimited analysis. Among
the benefits of this model output is that it:
