SUPPLEMENTARY RETIREMENT PLAN
April 10th was the beginning of the three week window that eligible employees may submit completed packets to the Public Agency Retirement Services (PARS) to participate in the SRP program.
All eligible employees who want to enroll in the SRP must submit all the required SRP enrollment materials (including the District Resignation Form (HR P‐310), and Acknowledgement Form) to the PARS office between April 10, 2017 and April 28, 2017.
The only form that should be submitted directly to the District is the Retiree Benefits Enrollment Form. The employee should send this form directly to

SRP One-on-One Meeting Schedule
SRP one-on-one meetings for all eligible employees are scheduled at each College and ESC, between April 10, 2017 and April 24, 2017.
If you would like to 1) ask questions about the incentive being offered, 2) have a PARS representative review your completed enrollment packet for accuracy, and/or 3) turn in your completed enrollment packet to a PARS representative and receive a receipt, please attend an Individual Employee Meeting.

The Board of Trustees is exploring offering a Supplementary Retirement Plan (SRP) to District employees who are eligible to retire under CalPERS or CalSTRS. A resolution in support of exploring the SRP was approved on the January 11, 2017 Board meeting and authorizes the District to further explore the feasibility of offering the program during the 2016/17 fiscal year.
