Health Benefit Rates
Question: Why are your rates higher than Covered California?
Answer: CalPERS plans provide our members with a rich benefit design. You can
view the Covered
California and CalPERS Health Plan Comparison (PDF, 223 KB) to compare some
of CalPERS plans to Covered California’s platinum and gold level plans. You
will see substantial differences in the CalPERS benefit design as compared to
Covered California plans.
